Community Partners

The Abby Community School Society is incredibly grateful to our community partners across Abbotsford. Thank you for sharing your services and expertise with local families. The following list highlights some of the community partnerships we’ve developed over the years.

  • Abbotsford School District – All ACSS programs, camps, and events are held at Abbotsford School District school sites within the City of Abbotsford.
  • Abby Early Years – We partner with Abby Early Years through our annual Breakfast with Santa event, where they offer storytime readings and provide books for all children in attendance. ACSS and Abby Early Years also share space at the Sweeney Neighbourhood Centre, where both organizations are located.
  • Archway Community Services: Family Centre – We partner with Archway Community Services: Family Centre for our annual Breakfast with Santa event, where they generously provide event crafts, stuffed animal donations, letters to Santa, and more.
  • Kiwanis Club of Clearbrook – We partner with the Kiwanis Club of Clearbrook for our annual Breakfast with Santa event, where they generously provide a free pancake breakfast for all attendees. The Kiwanis Club of Clearbrook also sponsors various literacy programs that run throughout the year.
  • Decoda Literacy Solutions – We partner with Decoda Literacy Solutions through the Raise-a-Reader campaign and are grateful for their sponsorship of various ACSS literacy programs and camps.
  • Literacy Matters Abbotsford – We partner with Literacy Matters and are grateful for their collaboration on various ACSS literacy programs and camps.
  • Abbotsford Police Department – We partner with the Abbotsford Police Department each year, through our recreational summer camps (Police Week).
  • Abbotsford Fire Department – We partner with the Abbotsford Fire Department each year, through our recreational summer camps (Police Week).
  • United Way – BC Lower Mainland – We partner with United Way BC – Lower Mainland for various community events and are grateful for their sponsorship of our Caring Kids Collective program, which ran from 2023 to 2025.
